Unlocking fee may apply if not with Telstra
Anyone know what the fee would be? Online search indicates potentially $25 but I haven't been able to confirm this.

Telstra aren't unlocking phones at the moment anyway. I spent weeks trying to get a phone I bought for my son unlocked, getting the runaround from 1258880, online chat and from various stores, before I just gave up and managed to swap the phone I had for an unlocked model for an extra $15. I would definitely advise never to buy a locked phone, unless you will use it with the locked network. And the MVNOs are not counted. Belong and Aldi SIM did NOT work with that Telstra-locked phone. Boost and Telstra postpaid did work, however.

it is locked to boost. i tried a different sim, but the phone was asking for a network unlocked code. hope this helps.
