Not too shabby if you're just looking for a simple monitor. VA panel gives it better contrast over IPS at the expense of viewing angles - IMO VA is fine for a single-user enviroment, but your mileage may vary. The monitor features a slight curve (19 degrees) to help counteract the VA viewing angle issue.
The 27" variant is also on sale for $199, but stock seems quite barren (around NSW at least).

have the 27 incher from when it was avail on Samsung Education. simple monitor, limited ports.
Is the 27” good for gaming?
I use the 24" for Xbox with no issues and freesync works. Might grab the 27" for a bit of an upgrade - seems to be plenty of stock around Perth.

I would be tempted if it had a speaker which it doesn’t. That’s a shame. It’s annoying that a lot of monitors don’t have a built in speaker.
It's a good deal for a second monitor. I would get a higher end fast refresh rate high res monitor for my primary display and get a cheaper monitor for a second display
JB stock around me sold out pretty quick but Harvey Norman has plenty and price matched it.
I asked on chat & they said it doesn't qualify for a price match because it is a clearance item.
Maybe in store would be more chance.

Does anyone if this would work well with a 2015 Macbook Pro Retina display? Want something that isn't pixelated for mainly office and uni work but afraid to pull the trigger.
I have this monitor. I bought this at a similar price last year. It is ok for office use but would not recommend this not for games or media.
