I used one of these recently. Did a great job of cleaning the house bricks and concrete drive and paths. Excellent job of the guttering and stripped a lot of paint of my old fascias which saved me a lot of sanding and scraping time that I knew was needed.
One negative, it was an older unit I borrowed and it got a leak during use. The outlet piece on the top of the pump got a very very fine crack in it which under pressure was an enormous leak. Contacted the local Karcher dealer and he knew the exact part and the exact location of the crack when I told him the model number. $25 part and a couple hours work in total to replace for those reasonably mechanically minded. It looked like the pump moved a little with each ON/OFF of the trigger, maybe over time this caused the crack. So less ON/OFF and maybe less of an issue.
Not a big problem just an fyi of my recent fun with the K4 and worth keeping in the head.
I also discovered that if you develop and airlock in one of these it wont power on….run water through the trigger handle for 5 minutes with it turned off, then power it up again and should work.

    • I’ve used mine to clean the driveway and paths no problems, so I would think it’d be fine for timber. The dirt blaster is the aggressive (circular type jet) attachment.

If you have a large area then one of these attachments is great, I’ve got an older one and it makes it so easy.
