I use free Tunnel Bear extension for Firefox as a Brazil VPN. Sem problemas.

Why would you get banned? You aren't doing anything illegal.
Only time you'll get banned is if you use fake or codes bought with a stolen card.
Won't this get converted to a GamePass period less than 12 months anyway?
Only if you already have GP, 12mth Gold converts to 4mth GP.
