  For those on a budget, I bought a couple (not makita brand) 2 years ago from amazon for $62 and they have been working fine.

  I agree with others, eBay clones are just as good. Purchased one three years ago, still fine. $50 each roughly…

  My clones are still going strong…
  Just remember some clones may not be compatible with the official charger so you may need a clone charger as well..
