Seems like a good deal to me. Will confirm tonight once I crack one open. Usual price is $23.99 for 1 bottle at Dan's. Good rating 93 from James Halliday. Bws has offer 2 for $40

I purchased this last month and for $11 a bottle it is a ripper. I would recommend
Bought this recently, and struggled to finish. Mine was 2018.. probably still too young to drink.
Yeah I'd say with a Coonawarra CabSav you need 5-7yrs post bottle date.
I had a 2012 Parkers last year and it was delicious. If I wasn't moving house next year I'd buy a dozen or 2.
Agreed. This is going to be a tad harsh at the moment.
I just polished of a similar 2011, perfect age on it.
Just smash it… don’t be soft.
That's what she said
These wines are designed for now drinking. Past vintages have been good to go off the bat and you wouldn't get anything out of aging them really. I cant speak for the 2018 though. But its a consistently great quaffer when its this cheap (quite often).
they are usually good for both, can be drunk now but will reward cellaring for a few years, if i get two i usually drink one and cellar one
Their Chardonnay is also available as part of the same deal
Good deal, bought a doz
This special has been around for a couple of weeks now. As with most of the Dan Murphys red wine stock the hard part is finding a year that isn't too new if you plan on opening it after purchasing.
With the Parker Cab Sav my advice is to hunt through the stack and grab the 2016 year if you plan on drinking now - still too young but has depth and balance that you would expect from a quality Coonawarra. The 2018 is far too young to open now in my humble opinion and I'd be amazed if your local Dans has anything younger than 2016.
Cellar that sh*t and enjoy a wonderful drop in 3-5
Yeah, I have some from 2 years ago when Dan had it as a promo, so will drink that now and top up with the new one. 2018 is supposed to be a ripper year, as good as the 2016 I hope.
It's really hard getting these alerts because there had been so many good deals the last few months! Agree 2016 was wonderful
Dan's near me is 2017, I grabbed 4.
Tough life living here in SA with having to decide between Barossa, Clare, Adelaide Hills, Coonawarra etc. lol
Also McLaren Vale/Currency creek ;)
and K.I.
yeah stuff those guys in Wrattonbully, Langhorne creek, Willunga or Eden Valley. Those guys and their wines suck…
Thanks, got a pair!
That's ballsy!
Thanks. I ordered 4.
Grabbed 6 to cellar for a few years.
Grabbed a couple to cellar for a few hours.
Got 2, thanks. See how it tastes
Coincidentally opened a 2001 Wynns Coonawarra Cabsav last night. Definitely past its best but reminded me of why this had been one of my favourite drops over the years.
So figured it's worth getting a doz of this at such a good price. Leave for 5 years and I'm sure it will be a good drink. (Maybe not as good as the Wynns but hey who knows).
Anybody got any tips on getting to payment? Not sure what I'm doing wrong but my form looks like this https://imgur.com/xKGj5Ki
Then what? Did you get an error when you tried to pay? Or are you just concerned this didn't look ok?
nice - bought 12 for $147 delivered. Thanks OP
Managed to find 4 2015's at Dans near me! Thanks OP
Result!
Will keep you updated! Thank you!
The 2015s were marked at $25 per bottle when I went in
:-(

@Its Never Enough: Dan's system automatically marks the Parker 2015 as part of their vintage select series and so it will automatically scan at the higher price rather than the members special. Which is why I suggested hunting for the 2016 - it's the earliest vintage you will get at this price.
One of the reasons why avoid Dan's is that their red wine selection is far too young and they force you to pay a higher price to get a wine that is ready to drink.
Thanks OP
Got two of their Chardy's hot, good if half price but wouldn't say by any means good.
Enjoyed the other 10$ pinot grigio a lot betterThanks OP . I got these and I thought they were great .I would definitely buy them again at this price . BTW 2016 click and collect .
Let us know how it goes!
