Fokker 100…no thanks
What's wrong with Fokker 100?
I flew quite a few times (on Virgin) and for domestic I like it more than 737.
Less people and much more space in Fokker, in VA seat pitch is by full 10cm longer than in 737 and also a bit wider.
QF has F100 in slightly more cramped seat configuration (used for "business" and extra rows) but still better than B737.
For starters they went Bankrupt about 25 years ago.
If you don’t know anything about aviation, just Google Fokker100 e.g. https://www.aeroinside.com/ has 81 incidents and accidents involving F100.

Same site lists 1,579 incidents for B737-800.
And "only" 22 for 737-MAX.

Love the Fokker 100, great plane, then again i love the smaller planes!

you can check - Jetstar has similar dates, but from 118-130, not including bags, from my cursory look.
And there's no previously comparable prices for this airline as it's a new route.

I wonder how much the qld government is paying for this. Not knocking it, I just wonder.
