Euromaid 7kg Condenser Dryer CD7KG - $599 + Freight @ Kogan

110

We have this dryer already and love it, but due to a relationship break up, we're splitting assets and she gets the dryer. So I looked to replace it with the same model and discovered this price. This appliance is great, and <$600 is a steal for a good condenser dryer.

Don't forget 2% off via CashRewards.

Mate sorry to hear about the split. Hope you’re both ok!

As for the deal, this has got to be one of the cheapest condenser dryers I have seen. Anyone else got experience with this unit? Looking to get one as coming into winter there’s not much sun about in our yard and we’ve got lots more laundry now with a little one.

Thanks - yeah it's not great obviously but we're getting through it.

This is the first dryer we've bought so we don't have anything to compare it to, but it's given us no problems whatsoever and does the job.

      • How long did it take on average to dry a load of towels or sheets?
I am interested in condenser or heat pump dryer but heard they can take up to 4 hours to dry a load versus the 1 hour to 1 hr 15min on a cheap vented one.

        • Yep, can take many hours. We have a Beko heat pump, cheapest on the market. So far its been great, fingers crossed nothing goes wrong with it.
Standard setting is 2.5 hours for "Cotton Cupboard dry" setting.

          • @corremn: hmmm. doesn't this negate the better power rating if you drying a load takes 2-3 times longer.
Trying to decide between vented, Condenser and Heat Pump before shortlisting models.

        • This particular model has towels dry within 90 minutes and thinner clothes/sheets within the hour.

    • I got this $299 Condenser Dryer deal and my first condenser dryer and it's been great.

In the same boat re separation. hope it all goes well for you. We never had a dryer but I need a washing machine. Waiting for Bosch EOFYS

Me too, the Bosch heat pump models could be had for around the $1200 mark this time last year. New models are sitting $500 more. Hoping for a decent sale in the coming weeks

No shipping to WA. I've been on the lookout for a new freezer too but nothing bulky Kogan sells ships to Perth.
    Oh well, their loss.

For not much more you can get a heat pump dryer and will make a difference on power bills if you use it lots

    • How much more is 'not much'? Most of the heat pump dryers I've seen are $1200+
Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place, but if you're able to share please do.

      • The Kogan one mentioned below is just fine. They’re all the same mostly with different branding.

I have this Beko for just $180 more. https://www.appliancesonline.com.au/product/beko-7kg-sensor-…

Electricity cost savings will more than make up for the cost.

Also, appliances online do free delivery and free removal of old appliances so you need to factor that when comparing.

        • Thanks, Kogan wants $90 for delivery and 7kg is big enough so might look at the Beko.

edit: Just rang Appliances Online, the Beko's aren't arriving in Australia till mid August, then they've gotta go through clearance, make their way onto trucks etc. Winter will be over by then and I'll be drying my clothes in the sun. Will keep looking :)

    • which one are you suggesting?

  • I bought a washing machine of this Brand(WM7). Only worked for two years even with once a week use. Never again.

  • Limited NSW delivery only? Not deliverable to 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, 7000 and 0800
