  • Isn't that just their regular price?

    • This is the Plus version thus generally around $600. I was tracking the price since Feb and this is the cheapest ever since. Think it was $469 back then

I've read that the graphene has a smaller footprint to the millennia, but I'm not quite sure what the trade off is?

I would say it depends hugely on what car you have. Read that Milenias are huge (rear facing) and unless you have a big 4wd or are quite short then you are going to want the graphene. Milenias are also quite prone to head flop (not sure if plus version has addressed it)

I have both the graphene and the millennia. The millennia just fits in subaru wrx (both set up rear facing) front seats need to be forward. Millennia fits in a subaru forester a lot easier. The graphene fits ok in the wrx (the footprint is smaller. Difference millennia came with a seat protector, more tilt positions and has air filled plastic bubble protection for the upper body/head, the graphene is just plastic protection, both score very similar in safety ratings. We also went with the normal versions because the material breathes better, we talked to a few people and the more water proof plus models don't breathe as well.

Great tip on the waterproof ones! I had been considering them but I'll stick to the normal Graphene (we have one already, but I need a second for the other car).

Graphene and Compaq are the same small shell, the Graphene has much more padding though.

The Graphene fits into our small car (way smaller than a WRX). It's what I recommend for a Small-ish hatchback etc.

Might want to spend a little bit more on Britax Safe-n-Sound Platinum PRO. Regularly goes down to low $500

    eg. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/537875 $525 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/517433 $550

  • I have this and my 8 months hate sitting on it. He was ok with it for the the first 4 months.

  • Thanks for sharing OP. Was looking for a car seat by November. Currently run the Britax Millenia SICT and it's one of the best seats on the market.

This will keep our second child very snuggly.

Just a reminder to others, there is extremely minimal difference between SICT, Millenia +, Millenia Pro. It's really just the stitching and one has micro fibre rather than foam.

Things a baby will never ever notice, they're all super comfy. Our son is asleep in his car chair since 3 days old in 10 minutes.
