Coffee 'lovers' dont go to McCafes. Far too hit and miss.
It's a hit and miss everywhere now literally as there's barely any real coffee baristas working at coffee places, it's mostly just random casual students that don't give rats behind how they're making coffee. Milk isn't heated enough, they don't bother preparing the coffee or operating with the coffee machine properly, hot water just runs through the coffee easily so that's why most times you get tastless, weak coffee. In all seriousness the $1 coffee machine in seven eleven makes better coffee, it's at least consistent with its quality of make.
I dont find it tasteless and weak, its bitter and burnt. Theres the flavour of waste coffee grounds from the last dozen coffees in every cup. No time or care to clean off the group screen between brews. Not the filter handle, stuck up under the manifold the filter handle fits into.
Regardless, I refuse to pay good money for crap coffee, and I dont bother if I can see they dont clean between every cup. I certainly dont bother if I cant see the machine in use.
And yeah youth, probably never drink it either so no clue.
AGREED SO many bitter and burnt coffees I've had from maccas recently
But those times they made a non-burnt mocha- ohhhhh yeahhhhh was so delicious
7-11 is far better.
