I'm going to grab one on my lunch break. I can give you an update when I get it. Only reason why im getting this is because the OEM bottle jacks is wind it up/down.
That'll be great if you could give an update. My scissor jack is a pita. Let us know what car you have and what size jack you get.
I got the 4000kg bottle. Sturdy, lifted my Hilux (all stock dual cab, no load in the Tray) fine. I don't like the stick/handle might replace it with another one I had.
@Deuce: Thanks, ended up picking one up also. I think all new jacks have those crappy multi piece handles these days. Now just need to find a solid one piece handle to go with it.
Not sure about the bottle jacks but I returned two 2 tonne trolley jacks due to faulty valve couple days ago.
I've got the 4 tonne one for the 4wd, and can't fault it, use it regularly to change between my daily wheels and mud wheels to go four wheel driving
Cheers, that's the one i was looking at. What size wheels/lift do you have?
Please remember that these are not a replacement for jack stands. For your own safety don't work on/under cars supported only by a jack - the only thing stopping the vehicle from crashing back down is an o-ring.
Thanks op good deal.
Yes please don't work under jacks and use proper stands and chock your wheels.
Cant fail if Im in HiVis…
…depending, but a bottle jack can also topple easier.
Anyone have any experience with these vs other brands?
