  • Lol. Musashi 2kg High Protein @ Chemist Warehouse for $39.

Musashi products have always been trash. You might as well eat a Snickers bar instead. Ever looked at the protein content in their High Protein products?

Hi Mr Fox thanks for your comments appreciate comments based on Quality! we certainly see the difference in Quality products V's CHEAP

      • +1

        Your comment is complete hypobole.
        Musashi High Protein: Protein: 67.1gm/100gm
        Dymatize Elite XT Protein: 60gm/100gm

        They're both WPC.

Unless you've been up on stage, you're just talking sales mumbo-jumbo.

90% of consistent gym participants will be fine with WPC and in that case, get whatever's on special - this is Australia, all products are quite highly scrutinised, unlike the US.

If you're competing or really have a definitive BF% target to get to, then spend a bit more money on a good WPI whey; otherwise you'll get 99% the same outcomes with WPC.

Moral: Don't waste money on highly priced (they have to pay for their marketing) protein powders, unless you're competing.

Yes Musashi is a WPC Plus Skim Milk Powered plus whole Milk Powder blend - Dymatize is a WPC Plus Milk Protein Isolate Plus Micellar Casein Blend so yes allot different in terms of Digestability so the BV of protein does vary based on protein types .

      • I have Musashi Recovery which is 76.7% protein blend (wpc and wpi blend)

  • So it's a 1.8kg blend? Not a deal for $99 even with the other stuff thrown in.

Can get Protein Maxtrix+ from Bulk Nutrients for as low as $22.90 per kg.

  • If anyone is considering the Protein, it's cheaper at Amino Z and you can bundle it with their 1kg Creatine Monohydrate to total $82.66. That's with free shipping from being a Club Z member and a 5% discount. https://www.aminoz.com.au/dymatize-elite-xt.html

My opinion on the quality of the product is that it will not make a significant difference for the average person but that's just me. Getting a sufficient amount of protein is more important so I'll pass. On top of that, you can get a metal protein shaker, funnel, and energy drink for under $20.

    • Vitalstrength Total 3KG is $59.99 at Chemist Warehouse. That will do me.

  • Not a deal - can be bought seperately cheaper.
