Probably imported but not from Japan, the cans come from Japan the bottles somewhere else.
Are these Made in China or Made in Japan or Made in Melbourne?
Thought the bottles were China and cans in Japan?
sounds accurate to me
And then there is the label… tree used could be from Australia. So it a multi national cooperation to produce. Me like 🥃
@shoppingbag: But where is the barley from ??????????????
Huh ?
@SmartM6: Sounds like Xi Jinping and Trump are in bed together over this barley issue…
as below…
the cans, both the 350ml and 500ml are made in Japan.
the bottles are made under license in Australia, Singapore and China
No way to tell - but most often the bottles are made in China/Thailand, but the cans are always made in Japan. Occasionally you will find a supplier selling Japanese bottles, but they're usually switched on enough to charge a premium.
The bottles are higher quality, so an astute bottle shop worker can tell the difference picking them up.

Oh really? Obviously the cans are better, but there is nothing wrong with the bottles imo.

choose the cans for original beer
I don't want to risk buying a Chinese one, so will go with the cans from now on… Thanks…
You think they might have the 'rona?
Nah, just don't like bullies…
@jv: You do know that no government is bully free…
Take Australia for example, see how we bully East Timor after they had civil unrest. Instead of trying to help them, our government play it dirty during the negotiations to rob them of their natural resource. You can read some of it on wikipedia.
Edit: if you want to not buy Chinese goods as a protest on a particular action, it’s justifiable. Base on generic bullying, then it best to be a hermit and not buy/trade with anyone.

Yeah, it's shades of grey…
I prefer to go with light grey though, rather than almost black…
Booze Bud in title please.
done
These Chinese made ones are terrible fyi. Pay the extra for cans for buy something else
The Chinese ASD is marginally better imo, although I admit I prefer my beer in glass. I doubt most Ozbargainers, including me, would be able to tell the difference in a properly conducted blind taste test.
If you prefer drinking from glass pour it in to a glass.
Thanks for that bit of wisdom captain. One good turn deserves another
Yes these are the Chinese made ones
is it the imported one ?
