  • I personally think

    https://www.danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_11780/royal-salute-…

    Minus 5% wish cards
    2.5% shopback

For $138 is far less hassle than using a 10% new customer bonus an amex

I'm working it out to be $142.54, but I completely agree.

      • Oh yeH, you are right!my calculator was broken

    • Really? I think it's much of a muchness if you already have an Amex. You use your Amex card that you were going to use anyway and then put in a coupon code when checking out. Versus clicking into Shopback, buying Wish cards if you don't have a bunch already, waiting for those to come through and then buying.

Now, your method is slightly cheaper so that's more the tipping point but it hardly seems like a hassle at all.

To be clear, Shopback is awesome as are Wish cards. But I don't see how it's much more convenient to go that route if you have the Amex.

      • For Dan’s offer you don’t need to be a new member. Most of ozbargainers would have used up theirs addresses so the effort to sign up as new Boozebud customers is probably not worth it.

        • You don't have to sign up. You just enter the coupon code when you check out and enter your email address as you would in most transactions. It really wasn't much of an effort.

    • If you pay using woolies egift card will that stack with Shopback?

Can you stack with the groupon $10 for $50 credit off $100 deal? By my (admittedly shonky) math thats $100 worth of booze for $51.63

    • It won't stack because the groupon code is entered into the "promo code" box at checkout.

      • -1

Ah damn I was hoping the groupon code might be entered in a separate "gift card" section or something similar.

    Pretty bottle

  • can i stack BESTBUD code with Groupon voucher?

  • I emailed them to price match Johnnie Walker Blue Label Zodiac Year of the Rat Scotch Whisky 750m from Dans.

They said they couldn't as they are out of stock but their website still showing in stock.

I wonder if they just made up an excuse as Dans was significantly cheaper. If that's the case then that's really poor form.

      I would
      1. Save that email/comm
      2. Buy to prove that it is in stock
      3. Submit a claim (they are usually quite good with it)
      4. If the above does not work, fair trading/accc for deceiving you (no stock).

  • This is shxt. If you are a firt time customer, the groupon voucher is always better than this deal.

  • Not sure why my comment was unpublished as a referral code .
It comes from Groupon with t&c
    https://www.groupon.com.au/vouchers/boozebud

  • What a shit service process.
Apply code on checkout my friggin ass!

Spend $150, still get hit with shipping and zero code to apply at checkout…. What a jip!

  • Boozebud’s system is really crap.
I’ve never ordered from their website or app but it matched my address from an order I did on eBay earlier this year which the seller was boozebud. It did not let me use the bestbud promo code.

I tried different names, didn’t work.
Put in Neighbors address, it worked.
I understand it’s the same person in this case but what about renters or home buyers who first order from a previous address used on their system.
