Is this designed to stuck to ear while doing Running excercise..
Listening to my tunes with it whilst typing this - Not bad for the price. Can't really complain…my only small gripe is touch control can be sometimes fiddly.
There are so many on the market right now. I wonder how they compare to A Brands like Sennheiser, Sony etc.
Bought one as a replacement for my samsung buds. These should do fine until they get repaired and sent back.
Been using mine everyday since receiving them, purchased from last deal for around $45.
pros -
They sound excellent for the price, with clear vocals and low bass.
Strong Bluetooth connection for great range and no drop outs so far
long battery life, getting around 7-8 hours at 50% volume
Can use any ear bud independently
Comfortable and stable fit, wont fall during running
cons -
not a fan of the soft touch controls at first but got use to it
no dedicated app (can understand at this price)
Can anyone who has these comment on how good the cancelling is whilst taking a phone call? Can I have a phone call whilst I'm out riding my bike, for example.
My friend bought a pair of these and tested them out when he called me while standing next to a moderately busy road. I could hear him well enough as cars passed etc…wind caused a little problem, but nothing horrible. He said he could hear me well enough with the noise around him…but remember the noise cancelling promoted here is on the microphone, not to filter out external noise to what you are hearing from the buds. They were fine in a quiet environment (when he went back indoors).
Has excellent call quality except when its windy then it will block more sound and the person from other side might not hear it. Sound quality is excellent but could have been little louder.
Ok so have received my TaoTronics Soundliberty79, and have them side by side with my Soundpeats True Engine SE's.
Fit: The Soundpeats never fell out, and were slightly more comfortable, but I always "felt" like they would fall out. This could be due to the larger size, making it protrude out more. Taotronics fits perfectly and i'm not at all worried about them falling out. Taotronics looks better in the ear (in my opinion
Case: Soundpeats is slightly larger, but feels much nicer to touch, and the open close mechanism is significantly better. The Taotronics case feels and looks cheap in comparison.
Sound: Soundpeats wins here. Warmer sound with better mids and all round soundstage. I'm quite impressed with the sound they produce. Taotronics isn't terrible, but I feel the mids are too mellow. It is a bit bass heavy(which I like), and trebles are also pretty good.
Call Quality: The TaoTronics is quite good. The Soundpeats is terrible. Ultimately this is what has led me to keep the TaoTronics and return the Soundpeats. The Soundpeats have un-usuably bad call quality. If the two pairs were on-par for call quality, I would be keeping the Soundpeats.
Have you noticed any delay when watching YouTube or gaming?
Not a gamer so can't answer that. No lag noticed on YouTube, but this is usually more of an issue with iphones> I am running an Android.
IPX7 Waterproof. Got some in the last deal. OK sound, when i'm on the phone some people say sound quality is tinny and a little hard to hear.
