So here's the rundown: Quite good for ryzen if your CPU supports it, it should run at an XMP profile of 3600mhz at CL18, should be supported by all generations of ryzen (depending on motherboard support), dont forget to enable XMP otherwise it will run at 2133mhz.

    • does this ram support intel or would i need to wait for something else?

      • +1

This Ram will work fine with Intel.

      • Yes it will work with Intel

      • Yeah it'll work

      • Yes it works fine

  • Should I get this or G skill F4-3600C16D-16GVKC for ryzen 3700x?
G skill has a slightly better latency and roughly $20 dollars more.

A few nano second better, for $20 It's my 10 weeks of milk

      • milk is $2.39 for 2L.

      • or 2kg of chicken breast.

    • 15% difference in latency won't be noticeable but also isn't insignificant.
Also the the other timings on the Corsair are worse. 18-22-22-42 vs 16-19-19-39.

In my opinion if you want a budget set-and-forget kit, any 3200 16-18-18 or 3600 16-19-19 are the best choices.

If you think you may want to try your hand at overclocking down the road, go for a Crucial Ballistix Sport kit in 3000c15 or 3200c16.
They used to be by far the best value RAM you could buy but its popularity has lead to shortages and price increases lately.

  • I went with 3200 c16. Planning to oc to 3600.

  • Looks like it's micron rev E so should be a good overclocker/timings will go tighter. cl18 is equivalent to cl16@3200mhz so looks like a good deal.
