  • Thanks, ordered two with cashrewards $2 bonus.

The best hand cream during winter.

  • Thanks OP :)

    • thanks but only original not fragrance-free :(

    • Didn't say where they made from?

I found that they are not the same.

Nope, best hand cream is Aveeno hand cream, $6.69 for 100gr.

    • Going to give this a try, thanks

    • Agreed. It's still on after washing your hands, but it's not greasy like this one. This one actually feels like slicking lard on your hands and the scent is so strong.

    • Even the regular lotion is good as a hand cream.

  • FYI looks like the whole Norwegian range is on sale

It s not Norwegian. This brand is barely sold in norway

      • It’s sold in Norway and the one sold in Norway is made in Norway. Well, at least that was the case before, dunno if it changed.

      • is it just like how the rest of the world thinks we all drink Melbourne Bitter here in Australia?

        • It s even worse, they all think we drink Foster. NEUTROGENA is a US brand. Please find me the address of a factory in norway. I think you underestimate the labor cost in norway for the last 20 years…

Water, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Sodium Cetearyl Sulfate, Methylparaben, Palmitic Acid, Fragrance, Stearic Acid, Sodium Sulfate, Propylparaben, Dilauryl Thiodipropionate.

Who'd have thought? Norwegian formulae is pretty much the same as every other country. Not that this is actually from Norway.

    • what other hand cream is 40% glycerin?

      • +1

glycerin draws in water, so from your body to the epidermis.
Is this really 40%? Means you don't need much, but it will be difficult to apply, I'd think.

You can rub 100% glycerin on hands if you like, but very slimey :-)

yes, as printed on the tube "just a dab heals/relieves dry skin", no

          • @tonester: So why not just buy some glycerine and dilute with water or sorbolene?

Does everything have to be packaged and branded, with celebrity endorsements and faddish additives?
This is 20c worth of glycerine, 10c of moisturiser, and $3.70 of packaging and advertising.

So why not just buy some glycerine and dilute with water or sorbolene?

the other 60% is not water or sorbolene

Does everything have to be packaged and branded, with celebrity endorsements and faddish additives?

yes, everything has to be packaged and branded, but what are the celebrity endorsements and faddish additives for this?

you've forgotten about research and development of the formulation

  • Speaking of best hand creams, https://www.aesop.com/au/p/body-hand/hand/resurrection-aroma… Resurrect your hands from daily stress…

  • Cheers OP, purchased a couple since I ran out of “Yuskin A” from my last trip to Japan

  • This is great for eczema and dry hands. Put on slightly damp hands just before bed and first thing in the morning. Use the Aveeno hand cream on slightly damp hands during the day (because it's not sticky). A doctor recommended this for eczema on my hands and I haven't had any eczema for 2 years (:

    • just before bed

Yeah, I only use it before bed.

    • Doctor recommended Norwegian or Aveeno?

      How about Cetaphil for eczema?

We all know what the real use for a hand creme is ✋. Hint, it's not for hands.

    • No, seriously I don’t know any other use of hand cream beside for hand.

I personally have tried this and while I think it's good, I prefer QV stuff. Qv's Australian-made, and it's cheap. https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/search?searchtext=QV%20s…

I just buy a bottle in the 250ml and then you can refill it with the bigger ones which have bulk sizes.

    • you're comparing hand cream to body lotion?

  • +1

This is good but if you want it for hand eczema, got the DermaVeen Eczema Lotion. Works best for me.

  • Great lub!
