Has anyone tried this soy milk? Is it comparable to bonsoy?
Good question I'm wondering the same as well and also how well does it compare to Happy Happy Soy Boy (also made in Japan)
well it has a less embarrassing name than happy happy soy boy so it already has something on it
(Preface: I'm not an employee, but apparently friends of workers should be tagged as associates, so just in case I did.)
I've had both this in Japan and SoyBoy from when JFC started selling it online and I'd say they are comparable.
I prefer my soymilk straight (ie; not to use with coffee / foaming) and I had both straight.
It's not as watery like many other western soy milks (so good, etc.) but its soy BEAN milk if that makes sense.
and seeing as its Kikkoman who do Soy Sauce, i'd wager the quality is equal or if not better than SoyBoy since they should know what they're doing.
Also Japan has these mini flavoured 6 packs of soymilk (banana is good), which i hope they come out in Aus or i can find some
Thanks for the write up Nekoakuma although a bit too late xD cause I've actually just picked up 2 boxes of this Kikkomen soymilk just recently this afternoon from JFC Online in person.
Haven't yet tried it, but I'm looking forward to trying it out once it's fully chilled in the fridge.
Overall, I'm very impressed with the turn around time from order to pick up with JFC online. I can definitely see myself ordering again from JFC online in the future!
Thanks @jfconline !
@MysticalWok: all good. i actually saw this post yesterday but got distracted by click frenzy. hope you enjoy it, i'm gonna get some myself.
@nekoakuma: If you're looking for a flavoured soy milk (banana flavour) i can personally recommend you trying out Vegemil Banana Soy Drink. It tastes really amazing having tried it myself. They can be found commonly in some Asian grocery stores or most of the time in Korean Grocery stores to be exact.
@MysticalWok: Thank you so much!
Your review means a lot to us since we have only been selling online for a short time.
We're looking for seeing you again!
Appreciate the write up! I like my soy milk straight so I'll definitely have to try some. Not sure if from JFC though since the shipping is a bit killer since I live out of state. Thanks for sharing.
