Was looking for a 144 hz monitor and feel like this is a decent deal considering the inflation and stock of monitors at the moment
Kogan 24" Full HD Curved 144hz Freesync Gaming Monitor (1920x 1080), $299 (Was $449) + Shipping (Free with Kogan First) @ Kogan

Same thought exactly
There's a number of them on the market.. Kogan will just OEM the panels from existing vendors like Samsung and put it together.
24" isn't as small as you'd think. They're still reasonably big enough to curve a bit.I feel like its kind of subjective and depends on how close you usually sit to your monitor
I got a monitor with same specs (ViewSonic) and was also skeptical about the curve at the time - wanted a regular one but curved was like $80 cheaper.
It took a couple days to get used to but now I love it and it feels much nicer than flat monitors!I had the feeling curved was to help reduce the distortion at edges of screen with VA and TN panels.
At 24" it may not be necessary, but can't hurt, depending on aesthetics or ergonomics of your work area.
Yeah the curved screens help the VA panels a lot.
No, you will get used to it then you will feel like every non curved monitor looks terrible, I went from flat monitors all my life to a curved for a year then back to flat and it took me a week to get adjusted to the flat screen again and now im just used to flat again though i still think curved looks better (yes i can notice a differences like how text in the far corners are slightly smaller since it's further away than the text in the center of the screen)
VA panel for better viewing angles??!! Lol
To be fair VA viewing angles can be great, mine have never been far off IPS.
I assume they are comparing to TN.Same. They’re great compared to TN.
Price hipster shows this was as low as $199 in March.
Monitors are highly inflated at the moment, so prices won't be $199 for now.
Yeah it's not too bad; I bought it 2 years ago and still working fine. The curve isnt that obvious, just a slight curve imo.
AOC Agon 31.5 was $400 at Mwave… 24' is too small
my dual AOC setup
You don't play games on it, do you?
you need to zoom in on the icons =)
Still using utorrent in 2020 kek
yup, bluray downloads
Look into using a different client. Utorrent is garbage these days.
It has a lot of history. Also, see Reddit post regarding it.

@adamshere: Give us a recommendation as to which one should be used
@Maloo: qBittorrent is a really good alternative
@adamshere: Thanks. It's the only one I've used before getting into PC's again. Will check these out :)
@adamshere Agreed. Go qbittorrent @jackkkkkk
Sorry didn't know if i was allowed to recommend clients. I would say Qbittorrent of even deluge is another good one :)
This is not a deal sorry
Guys, can somebody please recommend a decent (but not expensive) displayport cable that can power 144hz 2560 x 1440 (1440p) monitors?
ThanksCan’t all display port cables handle that? As of like 1.2
I am not sure sorry, trying to help a friend so don't want to provide him incorrect info
Yes most cables should be fine, the display port cable that came in the box of my Kogan 1440p 144hz monitor works fine. So any name brand cable or just one that says it supports 144 1440p will be fine. For example, the Amazon basics DP cable or something similar is cheap and would work fine.
Wow this was $450, I bought the 1440p version for $400
All prices have gone up overall due to current supply & demand. Waiting for a bargain on a 27" 1440p to pop up :(
Stupid question but is 24" too small to get curved? Or would it only be beneficial if you run dual 24" curved?
