OP, was there some kind of trigger to tell you to do this (and the resulting reward), or did it just happen after you turned on 2FA?
Gonna take a stab and say the message in the loading screen was what told them about the reward :P
I didn't get that message when I tried to log in.
You get that message after enabling it.
Ahh was hoping 2-step authentication would be using SMS or EMAIL. I hate Authentication apps, learnt it the hard way when my old phone broke. It is almost impossible to log into a site to make any changes, if the device is no longer working/stolen. You can't even update the settings to move to new phone. A vicious circle.

Authy is also another good alternative to Google's 2FA app as it can be backed up and used with a desktop app too.
@Wonderstache: Was gonna say Authy as well. Didn't know about MS doing their own though (might look into that) but I like how Authy can work through the Chrome extension.

A noob question - got GTA V via the Epic Deal, is there a step by step to redeem this, please? i.e. effectively does this involve a download & play or can i enable mfa without playing the game and get the in game currency deposited :?
