This jacket is fairly light but does have a thin layer of protection for keeping warm.

  I don't have this jacket, but a Columbia Men's Watertight which uses the same Omni-Tech waterproofing.

  It's quality. Could stand under the shower all day long and no water would get through.

  Good price.
