True - especially if there are people who have no idea what they want to buy and seek 'advice'.
and if you line up for 20 mins and then they say out of stock when u get to the front of the line. Still, $18.49 to Sydney for two hard drives is too much I think. I know it's registered post but I'd rather go to that store 1 level up from MSY and ask them to price match.
Good bargain for Western Australians though. Can't neg it just coz I live in Sydney, that'd be a bit harsh

I ordered two and I live in QLD. It's around $78 delivered per drive, so it suited me. It saved me the drive to MSY where they are most likely out of stock and often rude to customers. I try to avoid MSY if at all possible. Maybe it's also worth noting that they don't charge extra for creditcard.
Ever though of calling them to check for stocks before you go and buy it?? Maybe you were rude to them first?? To me I think MSY staff at Plymton SA are quiet nice and helpful compare to Harvey Norman staff at Marion.
I come from a customer service background and worked in retail while studying. I have high expectations of how customers should be treated, but I'm never rude. I prefer to vote with my feet and spend my money elsewhere, which is what I've done here.
The rudeness I speak of is lining up for ages, with a list of items I've checked online that say instock (tried phoning there was no answer), and to be told "none in stock" while they wave the next person in line over, I say "your website has these items as in stock" they reply "website wrong, bye".
Either way none of these things has anything to do with this deal, I was happy to pay the same price that MSY charge and have them delivered.

Are you talking about the MSY Varsity Lakes? I've always been quite happy with their service and their lines (suprisingly)
Shipping kinda kills it considering you can get it for $78 at MSY.
