    Dafuq is that thumbnail?

    • LOL
      was wondering the same

    • It's an at-home IPL hair removal device. There are several offerings on Audible about laser hair removal - in case this is important in guiding whether to sign up or not

looks like an epilator …didn't know audible expanded its business offerings…

Is this targetted, not working for me?

  • +1

    Not existing customers

    • It did work for me and i have been Audible customer on and off since October 2017 and i have over 1300 titles in the library.

      • but your not a paying member now right ?

        • If thats the case you are not an existing customer. Probably better description would be to say lapsed customers.

          • @unifex: Yes. It says in the description that i've cancelled in March.

@luckylittle: Well change the title then to ‘previous’ members and not ‘existing’. There’s a difference.

  • Already a member and definitely not working for me

  • I'm no longer a member (cancelled 20/3/20) and it's not working for me. Showing full price.

I use Audible.com (US) since it has a greater selection of titles and ongoing offers.

    • +1

Same here. I have the option to merge but it's far worse.

      • Yes, the keep "urging" me to move across to Australian site but it's not on par with US. I have been with US site for 10 years.

  • This doesn't include the free book you would get if you sign up for a month trial does it ?

  • I started using audible recently but don’t like the subscription just to buy books. Is there a better company to use?
I really only used them because I’d already been using amazon for my kindle which I’ve found OK.

    • Audible has the largest range but it really depends on what you are after. I found the major library audiobook selections to be very weak and targeted toward disposable fiction. Downpour (www.downpour.com) offers a smaller selection than Audible but has the History, Reference and Technical titles that interest me. Your mileage may vary.

    • The subscription was weird for me, in the beginning, especially when I was keen to build up my library. I must say that it has proved itself to be a great platform. I'm on the US site, they provide frequent opportunities to buy discounted titles (some are free, others are US$2-$5) and have promotions such as 2 books for one credit. I you choose well, you can get extremely good value from a small investment. You also have the ability to swap books you don't enjoy. The customer support (US) is one of the best experiences I have had with an online service. If you use their promotion, you should be able to get your first book for free. Then you can be one credit/title ahead as you build up your library. The US audible site has a much greater selection of titles. I read mostly non-fiction.

  • Does anyone know if
-I can sign up for the free trial (im a Prime member)
    -redeem two books

    (**Prime member benefits:
Prime members get the first two audiobooks of your choice free
Cancel anytime and keep all the audiobooks in your library)

    -Cancel the audible membership
-Then apply for this deal (50% off 4 months).
Any info on this would be appreciated.

    • Did you try it out ?

      • I did not. Was just waiting, feels like you'd be lock out of the offer, think both offers are only valid if you are new member signing up.

  • Can you get family accounts with audible?
