Username checks out. I hope we see more negatives. I mean who really ever wants to see a positive result come back?

I am going with the trend

    • What you do in your private life is up to you man! 😉

Despite the name, this is quite a heavy suitcase compared to what you can get.

The 55cm lite shock sport is only 1.7kg, 900g lighter than this.

Could allow you an additional 7 tshirts for the weight difference.

    • but double the price

      • +3

Yeah, worth it in the long run if you're a regular traveller with only carry on luggage in my opinion

    • that's important as one clean t-shirt for each 2 days of isolation

    • +2

I could buy 10 extra t-shirts with the price difference though. 100 if I'm going to Thailand! Or, I could just NOT buy a suitcase cos let's face it nobody is going anywhere for 12 months

    • Can't hook my laptop bag on the handle, a big let down…

  • Good price, thanks OP

Amazon has price matched this, and it comes in cheaper if you combine it with the 5.5% cashback from cashrewards.

  • Thanks, got one:)

This model is just the name. Too heavy itself, might as well just buy a cheap American Tourister

Wonder how this compares to the 5 dollar one from target

Aren't these like really easy to open and steal as all you need is a pen?

  • Antler Juno 2 is a better unit…
    Larger internal and lighter..

Lots of bad reviews on this luggage case on productreviews.
Juno 2 also has some bad reviews.

my wife has been using hers for a few years….nothing has broken, everything still works…

it's just heavy AF, and I don't like the 50/50 split…but other than that, no complaints.

If weight isn't an issue, I would've picked up one for myself…but at 4.5kgs, it's a heavy beast, especially if you plan to bring back shopping goods from overseas

This is a good price for this suitcase. I bought one of these (81cm) in November and paid $249.

Overall, this is decent suitcase for a decent price. I also purchased an American Tourister Sunside 68cm suitcase at the same time, and took both to the US. Both suitcases had a zippered section to hold your stuff on the top half as you open/close it, however the Samsonite only had the elastic straps on the bottom side of the suitcase. This meant that you always had to zipper in your stuff on the top half, you couldnt just strap the stuff in and hope for the best if moving the suitcase around the hotel room, you had to flatten everything out to make sure you could get the zipper done up. This might not sound like a big deal, but it annoyed me and made a small thing more time consuming. The American Tourister had straps on both sides. I also preffered the positioning of the expander zip on the American Tourister, the Samsonite had the zip below the zipper for the top half, making the bottom half/strapped side bigger. The American Tourister had the expander zipper above the zipper for the top half, making the top half the bigger side. I felt this made it easier to close as the top half was heavier so it fell more evenly on the bottom, plus you could squish more in because it was contained in the zipper.

No complaints about quailty yet, its only been on two trips and has held up fine so far. I bought the white one and am surprised that it's not really dirty yet, just a few scuffs.

At the time I purchased this Samsonite I didn't consider the weight of the suitcase, it was the cheapest Samsonite in that size that I liked the look of. Now people mentioning the weight on here, I understand what they mean, the two trips I took it on I struggled with keeping it underweight. However, when it comes to an 81cm suitcase you would likely struggle keeping the weight low with the volume of stuff the case holds anyway.
