I somewhat enjoyed Tokyo Ghoul, but it never entirely hooked me. I dropped it after the first few episodes in favour of Parasyte: The Maxim which I highly recommend, especially if you don't take to Tokyo Ghoul. I did however come back to it later on, but never really took to it. Some people do love it however, it's a shame I'm not part of that group.

The anime makes no sense because they kept skipping parts of the manga.
I find the manga extremely interesting, just annoyed that the sequel just throws everyone everywhere and unless you have great memory, some characters are just un-recallable.
The anime sucks though.
