what happens if you try to sideload them? or do they need touch screen controls to work?
Just tried it out myself and it works perfectly.
I installed it on my phone, used lucky patcher to patch out the ads and verification, then sideloaded the APK onto the Shield.
Even though you pay for it it is still riddled with ads and in app purchases.
It's probably the same game that was released in 2014 like every other game Ubisoft has released since then.
And, obviously, this full priced game has been made purposefully shit in order to prompt you to "make the game better" by spending more money on predatory microtransactions.
When are people going to stop losing money for this garbage?

Anyone actually played the Assassin's Creed game? Have over $13 chilling in my Google Play account after free surveys from the last 6 months..
I haven't played it but reviews look fine, gameplay looks pretty good and it has been downloaded many times.
If it were me and you have nothing else new to play on mobile I would take a stab at it but that's just my personal opinion.

Why is it all these games that would be great on a shield tv are not compatible?
