Just linking similar posts - 20 Dark Horse books for free too - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/535537

    • Oooh very good, thanks for the share!

      No avatar :/

    • I searched for some of these titles, like usagi yojimbo on amazon, and was able to add it to my kindle instead of going through comixology website.

Thank you for sharing the link!

  • i got "we did not find a Kindle device or reading app registered to your Amazon account for which this content is available"

cant deliver to kindle cloud, you need to install kindle for android/apple

may as well post this here too

"if you have an amazon/comixology account, just go to https://www.comixology.com/free-comics and at the top of each panel (as you scroll down) you select add all to cart.
there is a max of 150 items per transaction, so the box at the bottom which has 800 free comics takes a few transactions to get through. I found it was enough to stall the process and after clicking "add all to cart" I had to click on a couple of the "buy instantly" free comics and it triggered the website to show the cart contents."

do you think this neighbour's boy next door will be jealous if I tell him I have 800 comics?

I've only read the first four volumes, but Ms. Marvel is a really good read. Originally read it at a local library.

Enjoyed it a lot. So I grabbed it for a reread.

  • Is it me or does some of these comics sound like pornos?

    • Captain America Vol. 1: Winter In America
    • Doctor Strange Vol. 1: The Way of the Weird
    • Secret Invasion…

Mate go for a walk once in a while.

    • It's just you.

A single promo comic is 22 pages. Have a look at the page counts on these books.

I have a personal preference for DRM free formats like PDF and cbr/cbz that can be read on any software that supports the formats, but comics, like Ebooks, tend to be proprietray format. But free full graphic novels I haven't seen on Amazon before, and are appreciated. I had only read Planet Hulk, and some of Black Panther and of Dr Strange.

You ought to add the following Marvel title: Venom by Donny Cates Vol. 1: Rex (Venom (2018-) https://www.amazon.com/Venom-Donny-Cates-Vol-2018-ebook/dp/B…

Also found a PC Spiderman graphic novel: Miles Morales Vol. 1: Straight Out Of Brooklyn (Miles Morales: Spider-Man (2018-) https://www.amazon.com/Miles-Morales-Vol-Straight-Spider-Man…

  • I've read vol. 1 of spider man and it's really good! Highly recommended from me.

These are all free direct from the Marvel Digital Comics store too - some can be found here but some need to be searched.

  • Thanks OP, that is great. Does anyone have tips to procure cheap physical comic books? On the iPad, my kid will quickly switch to Roblox instead of reading, and I would love to just have a stack of comics for him. (Used is fine as well).

Hit cons like Supanova and raid the cheap bins where you'll find lots of crap from the 1990's they still haven't managed to sell.

When I was reading physical comics, I used to just order collected issues from Amazon or book depository which were usually the cheapest places to go.

Abe's Books have a seller who often is liquidating old library copies. I bought pretty much the entire Alias run (Jessica Jones series) for less then $10 delivered.

      • Thanks for the tips 👍

  • Thanks. I got them all. I probably won't read them, but they were free, and that's what counts.

  • does anyone know if any of these are suitable for kids?

    • +1

All the comics have ratings. For example, the Black Panther book linked about is rated '9+'. Ultimately for Marvel though, as long as it's not part of the 'Max' line, it'll be suitable for kids.

  • Thanksss

    Thanks OP.
Time to revisit Amazing Fantasy #15.

  • what devices are people using for their comic watching ?

ive had some drm free comic files in the past i watched on my pc, but i was thinking whether to buy a portable device for comic reading ? but my ipad screen seems a bit small for A4 comic sizes ?

    • 10 inch+ tablet screens are perfect for comics.

      • correct ^.
phone screen isnt big enough, mine is 6.9" xiaomi but still not good for manga/comic

        • That being said, Comixology has the nifty panel by panel tech which works great on phones.

          • @SirFlibbled: The Kindle app for iOS (not sure about Android) does this as well. Makes it very readable on an iPad Mini.

  • Damn, they don't have The New Warriors with Safespace and Snowflake, I was really looking forward to that one, said no-one ever…

    • I am. But not for the new characters.

  • the ipad pro 12.9 " is about $1600+
I saw that jbhifi have a cheap 12.9" surface pro for $800
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0167OR4V0?th=1 18" ?

    • Tab A 10 reads comics pretty well

the Tab a 8 is perferct for on to go comic reading.

  • Thanks OP
    Time to get reading :)

  • Cheers
