Which 'Uggs' are these? The 'real' one? The 'genuine' one? The 'original' one? Or just another one using the name brand to confuse people?

Real UGGs, but I believe UGG Australia is the main brand

They likely are made in prc and the rrp is also likely never paid

      • what is with a lot of companies using Made in PRC instead of Made in China?

        • My pet pev… They use PRC because people associate China with cost cutting.

I assume given the lack of "Australian made" statement that these are made overseas?

    • Judging from the comments here, it seems some are and some aren't.

    • They are not in their made in Australi range so title seems misleading.

I feel like this is the 5th post I’ve seen about this “brand” in the past few days.

Pfft. I purchased from this mob on April 10 and still have no boots. Unless you live next door to their shop , your not getting these by Mother’s Day.

    • i purchased some last sunday & received them today

looks so much like the following (just more buttons and taller):

I think these UGG posts are probably from the same group?

I think when it comes to products like sheepskin and Ugg boots, as long there is one made in an Australian I'll only be interested in buying Australian.

So neg to this deal as not made in Australia.

You're going to be negging a lot of deals presumably? Nice sentiment but if the business employs "Aussies", pays Aussie tax, sells (some) Aussie-made goods, uses Aussie couriers, rents Aussie premises etc etc then I fail to see the logic. Irrespective your neg is invalid: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:voting_guidelines

    • To be frank, in light of the Ozbargain experience with Ugg Australia - I couldn't give a rats. I realise this is a different company - my comment is more towards "Australian made Uggs". Uggs are a very lucrative industry where confusing claims are often made, countries of origin implied falsely, and quality issues galore. This has been raised by OzB community in recent days and is unacceptable.

For example - Ugg Australia serious quality/safety issues, shocking customer service, poor lifespan, shocking postage timeframes & inflated "RRPs" for dodgy products - and selling as a "deal" has become their bread and butter.

All for the sentiment of "buying Australian" (which I would normally support). I have no patience for such businesses and as a community we should not support them - regardless of where the product is made.

Got a link to Ugg Au feedback/discussion? Interested to read it.

Au made is almost invariably more expensive - because costs are much higher (wages, OH&S, super, outrageous rents….). Boots I bought from them on special are very well made and were despatched quickly.

  • Rep posted it as Australian which was misleading. It's been modified now.
