Way back when Dick Smith stores were operating, for a couple of years there would be a joke item in every catalog. I can remember the "energy-saving blown light bulb" and the "Co-tanger replacement car antenna" - it was a coat hanger, "patriotically bent into a map of Australia".

Just check that the connections are the same as what you need. No detailed pic of the end point in that EBay adv. Good to know as I have a similar power adapter for my sofa
