Absolutely incredibly clever. Integrates with Air bnb and sends code to guests…. Makes all those locks look 'dumb'. Check it out. (I'm not associated with them just a very happy customer)

(Could apply to other locks as well)This bullshit video gets posted every time a Samsung lock deal gets posted. This is not isolated to Samsung locks, but of any lock of this type with a "classroom" type function (Outside handle lock/unlock, inside lever always opens door.)

I’d recommend Schlage Smart Lock $249 at Amazon AU. Look it up. OB site does not let me put Amazon link for some reason! Works well with Apple Home for those who have Apple TVs.

What amazes me is that none of the locks Samsung sell in Australia work with Samsung SmartThings.
And the ZWave frequency of an imported August lock isn't the same as the Australian SmartThings Hub.
Argh.
Isn't a door lock only as strong as its latch/strike plate? What is the benefit of a door lock like this?
