Can't say I am impressed but we were probably unlucky. We bought two Metros a few years back from the web site (not sure when). We didn't use them until in Tasmania in February this year & on the second use one of the edge devices & spring fell out. The flip device was found but the spring was lost! The flip device now falls out when opened.
Have you contacted them about it? Lots of comments in this post about how good their customer service is.
Thanks Domingo, yes, I noticed the comments & contacted them today to ask for the missing spring.
My personal experience is that they'll consider warranty claims OUTSIDE of the 2yr warranty period.
If they're in otherwise new condition (based on your description) I reckon they'll just replace it.

The problem is the rain in Australia doesn't come from the top…..comes sideways and you still get wet!

Mine was shipped Wednesday
My item was shipped and delivered today (except some idiot sent me someone else's order). Now I don't know if I'll get my umbrella as it's out of stock :(
Mine was shipped and I got mine on Saturday. But I have to say the delivery is really strange, as it went to lots of different places. A really beautiful umbrella!
Ordered the Sunday, shipped the Tuesday\Wednesday and arrived safely today.
Aust post are quite slow at the moment for everything, deliveries from and to the same city are taking a week, I'm waiting on something from Adelaide to Melb an its been more than a week and its not even showing its in VIC yet.
Hasn't rained for the rest of the day for me to use it.
Mine arrived today, quite a wait to the Island with Auspost and Covid.
What can I say, the umbrella looks extremely well made and solid.
I can't wait to try it out now - looks like it should handle a decent breeze with the solid build quality.
Yep. Oh well. Was going to get a Classic in red just now. Will have to make do with my black Metro - which is not quite big enough when it's absolutely hammering down in Sydney.
