Went to buy but it comes up as $118.92 for me.
20 pieces comes up at $106.70 - excellent price if you have any use for imperial (30 years ago maybe but not today for most of us).
I start disliking amazon for being too fishy with their specials. They change prices too fast
Perhaps some algorithm that detects multiple clicks within a few minutes and just removes the discount.. I say this because the other GearWrench products on discount are still on specials. Just this one has gone..
Everybody click on the imperial combo and see if the prices goes up.
Yeah pretty sure they are using their own advanced AWS monitoring / machine learning to monitor traffic / pricing / stock levels and adjust the prices on the fly.
When I went to AWS conference last year, they had some pretty crazy stuff they were calling AI ops. About services monitoring patterns and predicting when a server crash might happen and automatically taking action.
They also could be doing it to get links posted on sites like this, then hoping people who click the link still end up buying it.
Ive left it in my cart too. It’s amazing and frustrating how Amazon keep changing things up.
The Mikky - are you an amazon seller?
@Onnzo: Nah, just work in IT.
i leave stuff in cart if i missed the low price…..sometime when i check my cart a few days later they do the item as a flash sale …..i’m sure that analytics track what is in demand and what it takes to make the sale and move stock, and keep people visiting amazon …..
Wow that would have been a great price! The 20 piece imperial and metric set is pretty cheap at $107. If I didn’t already have so many tools I would buy that - but I mainly want the metric ones
yeah, too may sae tools that will never be used anymore already.
Anyone know a good place to buy singles? I’ve lost a couple from my set.
Price is down to $77 - local stock… tempting…
Bummer, just bought the Kinchrome version for quite a few more $$$.
