      In SA no. The law doesn't define what a knife is. You would be unlikely to get in trouble for it though.

      No. My wife packed my Victorinox (smaller model) in my carry on and they measured the blade against a sticker on the counter and it was 6cm or more, so it was confiscated. Bangkok, but I would assume similar rules apply elsewhere. Hell, I even had my [expensive] Repel travel umbrella confiscated in Manila airport but I reckon the officer might have just fancied it for himself.
