The last free Azure training which was meant to be last night

Thank you for your registration. This email confirms your registration for Microsoft's virtual training. This training consists of multiple sessions, so be sure to block your calendar using the links below. You will receive separate emails, one for each session, in the 24 hours prior to each session's start time. To access the virtual training, you will need to click the link in the session-specific email. Please note, the link to join each session is unique by registrant and should not be forwarded.

I never received the email with the actual training link.

So even if you are confirmed in this one, don't hold your breath.

    • I got below email on 16/04 ..

Interesting - never received that email either.

Good to know it was postponed

        • hmm it wasn't actually postponed but basically telling that I was not there in the top 100 etc for the training.. not sure about the criteria ..

  • hmm I asked for PowerBi to be installed ub my work computer

They said no, as its not supported on Office 365

    That is its redundant

    • Not supported in what way? The admin panel and everything is through 365.

    • They would need to purchase a separate license for it. It doesn't come with the regular O365 Business or Enterprise license so that might have been what they meant. You can do the free trial though.

      • There’s varying tiers of the licencing… some get it some don’t.

You can use the free version for your own analysis (I think you're limited from sharing the dashboard with others if its the free version)

    • pro license is $12/mth per user, but pretty limited in sharing if everyone doesn't have it.
you can use the desktop client (dev area) for free and publish to a personal workspace, and publish publicly and share if you don't care about security/privacy. also export to pdf/ppt and email/share.
pro license will give you access to publish to workspaces (test area), create reports in the workspace and publish apps (prod area).
premium license starts at $6k/mth and you'd need about 500 users to take advantage.
there's plenty of resources online at microsoft and guyinacube on youtube. you can absolutely teach yourself with these resources.

  • Registered with my work email - we've got Office 365 E5 subscriptions at work and I missed the internal training session. Fingers crossed!

  • I applied shortly after this was posted but got an email today saying they can’t accommodate me unfortunately!
