I went to do a live chat with them, the only question I wanted to know was what would happen if I couldn't go to the south of WA due to travel restrictions. They refused to even deal with me unless I disclosed 4 different pieces of information. One if which was when was my last purchase with them. All I wanted was an answer to a non account related question. You would think that their turnover would be so low that they'd be looking at ANY way to not irritate customers.
Agree, shocking behaviour. Also illegal as they can't provide the service you u paid for. I raised a PayPal dispute. I would urge anyone with unused vouchers to raise a dispute with PayPal or your card provider.
same here. Ended up getting my credit card to get my money back. they pretty told me bad luck. never giving them my money again

very unfortunate, honestly some groupon live chat assistants are different but I have always ended up getting what I wanted when it came to the groupons I had around this time of year.
Did you get a full refund? Do they read your last chat?
ye they said u can get full refund so i quote that when i talk to them and never had an issue. It seems like they don't read past chat, usually i wait a bit before i contact again.
@Jollystacker: Is this recent? In March I was able to get a full refund, but now they only give the refund to credit option.

Yep. I went through six different deals. Most were 5%. Maybe one was 10%. Surely they must realise this puts people off. I just WA t to know how much its going to be without jumping through hoops.
Yeah no refund from these guys from groupon that can't be redeemed never again also there deals are mostly 5%off and capped at $40
They need to learn to treat there customers well or they wont have any

Best thing to happen to Groupon to go into liquidation and save the pain and anguish this company has done to honest hard working people

Sorry no loyalty here Groupon will not even consider refunding my money spent on unusable Groupons or even give me store credits with 12mths months expirey They also claim that they can give a 12mth extensioon to your voucher and yet refuse to do so the hotel i would like to do business with has had no contact with them at all. I suspect they are waiting to see our groupons expire and then say bad luck
