  Most likely it's only 4 strands.
  Doubt it would be the 8 strand braid.
  $9.50 per spool personally I would run away as fast as I can.

Seems to be a very common price for generic braid on ebay.

  Showed $9.90 is 150m each spool. Our is 300m each spool, also if quality , brands of braid line are different the prices are also different.
