[PC] Steam - Resident Evil 3 - $41.99 US (~$66.17 AUD) - DL Gamer

80

According to ITAD this is the all-time lowest price for this game.

From the website:

In Resident Evil 3, S.T.A.R.S. member Jill Valentine, one of video games’ most iconic heroines, flees a city being consumed by zombies and other horrifying creatures. Built with Capcom’s proprietary RE Engine, Resident Evil 3 uses modernized gameplay to combine action with classic survival horror in vivid high-definition.

Jill’s harrowing experiences in Resident Evil 3 take place in the nightmarish hours leading up to and following the events in Resident Evil 2, shedding new light on the plight of Raccoon City’s residents. Every hope of escape is cut off by another star in the Resident Evil franchise: the towering Bio Organic Weapon Nemesis. This brutal yet intelligent monstrosity uses an arsenal of high-powered weaponry to indiscriminately eliminate any surviving S.T.A.R.S. members in the city – with Jill being his final target.

Also includes Resident Evil Resistance, a new 1 vs 4 online multiplayer game set in the Resident Evil universe where four survivors face-off against a sinister Mastermind.

Key Features

  • A fan favorite reborn – This highly requested title modernizes a classic favorite 20 years after the original game’s release.
  • Up close and personal – An over-the-shoulder camera and modernized control scheme update the 1999 survival horror classic, drawing players into every blood curdling encounter and horrific scare while they navigate the ruins of Raccoon City.
  • Another side of Raccoon City – Experience another perspective of the once-vibrant city’s nightmarish outbreak of the TVirus, a biological weapon developed by Umbrella Corporation. Jill’s harrowing struggle for survival takes her from the early moments of the outbreak, and overlaps with the events depicted in the acclaimed best-selling Resident Evil 2 before arriving at the dramatic conclusion of the Raccoon City saga.
  • Intense action meets classic survival horror – Overcome chilling encounters in a constant fight for survival that ratchets up the genre-defining horror game’s intensity. Nail-biting exploration complements the gripping puzzle solving that fans have come to love.
  • Bone-chilling tension amplified – RE Engine creates a photorealistic apocalyptic setting where grotesque zombies, horrific creatures, and a persistent stalker await around every dark corner. The proprietary engine has fueled a portfolio of acclaimed games such as Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry 5 and Resident Evil 7 biohazard.

Enjoy!

Not good as RE2 remake but ok, 7hr game

    • +4

True, not as good as RE2 remake, and definitely not worth the price, maybe wait for it to go down to $25.

  • +2

    $65.99 on CDKeys

    • -4

      Not official reseller. Risky keys.

      • +3

        CD KEYS better and cheaper

        • -2

You can repeat that as much as you want and downvote - it does not change the facts.

There is a reason CDKeys is not used along with the other official reseller stores on ITAD etc.

And there is a good reason why game deals involving CDkeys, G2A and the like are not allowed on Reddit (and that should tell you something given the other stuff going on there).

          Maybe have a read here:

          https://www.reddit.com/r/GameDeals/comments/2yhlw4/key_resel…

In any case, comparing official resellers with "non-official"/gray market/dodgy resellers is not acceptable as then we could simply put in any game deal for any platform: the cheapest way to get any game is by pirating/stealing it. Much cheaper than buying it anywhere.
But of course that is illegal and this website does not want to be seen to advocate the pursuit of illegal activities I am sure.

@Lysander: Enough with the pretentious pomposity. Arbitrage is an accepted practice used by informed consumers to circumvent artificial market geo-restrictions. The ACCC completed an inquiry where they explicitly recommended the public investigate such avenues in order to increase competition and procure more affordable digital content.

            • @[Deactivated]: Legal arbitrage is one thing, buying keys from questionable sources is another.
Maybe you link the inquiry where the ACCC recommended buying keys that might be stolen, might have been bought with stolen credit cards etc.
Plus, you totally disregard the legal principle of the first sale doctrine. That is why the platforms can legally lock your accounts if they catch on. This doctrine also make the legality of any arbitrage questionable, in the absence of explicit agreements stipulating the free movement of goods in the signatories' territories - one example of such is the EU.
But I highly doubt that Australia has such agreements with Latvia, Estonia or any other low cost country.
If you are so convinced you are right, I am cordially inviting you to sue a platform of your choice - if you stump up all costs (filing etc.) and assume the legal fees risk of the other side I will do the legal work for free.

              • @Lysander: Sorry but you're the one trying to steer people away. The burden of proof rests with yourself.

Ozbargain.com has any number of deals currently running that require the use of VPN's to circumvent artificial geo-restrictions (eg, Adobe subs). In CDKey's case it's a storefront that's acting as the proxy.

Reputable gaming sites such as Eurogamer regular post deals sourced from CDKeys just as they do with Amazon.com. Unless you can prove it's illegal then you need to stop trying to manipulate other ozbargainer's behaviours and leave the autonomy of decision making to them.

                • @[Deactivated]: Mate, I have no burden of proof. I have linked sources (have you even looked at them at all??). If that is not enough for you or you do not like them that is your problem.
Read the T&Cs of the gaming platforms, familiarize yourself with the first sale doctrine and international agreements - then you will see I am right.
Plus, I have many friends who were sold either invalid keys from CDKeys or the keys were revoked a short time later with the explanation given by the revoking platforms being that the keys were purchased with stolen funds.
Make of that what you will.

I am not trying to manipulate anybody - I am just saying one is official and the other one is not and there are risks associated with that. People can the info you provide and that I provide and then decide for themselves - that is the best outcome.

For all I care, you can steal everything you need - that is your individual choice and such choice has risks associated with it and consequences. As far as I am concerned each adult can do whatever they like as long as they do not start crying foul when caught. I strongly believe in self-determination and individual freedoms and liberties.

Enjoy the reading and the rest of your day.

                  • @Lysander: Well if ozbargain allow grey market listings then I think it's probably something we all need to come to terms with. It's very much part of the landscape here. Anyway sorry for the pretentious pomposity thing. Take care :P

          • @Lysander: Hey Lys. don't say like I always neg your stuff. No, I've upvoted many of your posts - not that I know how you can check your voters.

yet this time you just get too triggered. You're too loyal to IATD you forget the fact that many people go to this site for the best/cheapest possible deal.

anyway you get paid from IATD for posting on here? or DL gamer? lol kidding.

    • Now $59.99 at Cd Keys lol.

Have never had an issue with CD Keys, have used them far more then DL Gamer without issue.

  • +3

    $13 per hour

    • -3

      ??
      66:7 ~ 9.43

And that is assuming 7 hours is correct. I play slowly so for me it would probsbly take more like 16 hours.
Comparing that to a cinema visit this is still great value for money, especially now that a cinema visit is not even possible.

      • That 7 hours estimate is actually generous.

I completed my first blind play through trying to explore everything and clocked just over 5 hours. Subsequent runs took just under 2 hrs.

There's also just one scenario unlike RE2.

        Definitely overpriced.

        • +1

          That's good to know.
Although of course, so far there has not been a single AAA game where I did not take at least double the time stated on howlongtobeat. ;-)
Maybe I am just a slow and/or bad player. ;-)

  • STARS!

  • You're really clocking up the negs today Lysander

    • No problem. It just shows how peculiar people are. My response to your comment was not meant in any way mean or critical. I was just not sure how you got to your number and stated I play slowly so for me personally the value per hour would be higher.
And yet people started "misunderstanding" and negging.
Plus I find it interesting how some people make statement without having any evident knowledge of the underlying legal principles but that is the internet and Ozbargain.
I can live with those negs - thanks to the lockdown a lot less stress than usual.

I wish you a lovely, pleasant, and safe day.

      • HLTB = variable. So no right or wrong answer

You're good. Much love to you Lysander

  • It's $68 at Harvey Norman for Xbox/PS4 and you can flip it when done if that’s an option.
