    I really dislike the epic games app. I’m not even sure why. I just would much rather use steam, but free is free.

      Yeah, it's so awful that Epic is my free library while Steam is my paid library. I can't stand looking for games on Epic.Thanks Hippo!

        Try using the Heroic Games launcher instead, and get your free games from the online store.

      Use the Heroic Games launcher instead? Gog and epic launcher with both stores as well. It's pretty neat.

        I have been getting errors recently saying the Heroic Games launcher is an “invalid client” and doesn’t have the “right parameters”.
        I have no clue what this means. Is the Heroic Games Launcher using a different version of Legendary under the hood? Can you swap Legendary versions on Windows?

          Not sure. I'm on linux and installed it via flatpak so it just works for me!

      It just isn't as social. I like seeing my friend achievements and them seeing mine in games. Doesn't seem to work as well in Epic as it does in Steam
