Spotlight have almost all their sewing patterns on sale for $6, these normally cost around $20 depending on the style.
Delivery is $11.99, but I think the sale is for instore too. These pattern sales seem to come around fairly often, so don't despair if you miss out.
If you are only motivated by having cheap clothes you are probably better off shopping at BigW or Kmart or somewhere, rather than making your own. But if you are interested in sewing as a hobby or want custom clothes these patterns could be a good place to start.
