Reasonable price for a well regarded remake. The copy I bought included the phone strap, manual and sampler CD.
By comparison, Amazon sells it for $53 USD
Sorry can't type capitals holding baby with other arm. (Edited)

sorry cant type capitals holding baby with other arm
So I gather you've just had your first child? Lots of experienced OzB'ers on here that have mastered doing lots of things with one hand whilst holding a baby.
I have three. I can actually juggle them while typing on my phone, but I leave out the capitals so people dont think that Im showing off.
I paid $20 for this game 25 years ago. It makes it hard to see $40 for a remaster as a bargain…
FWIW, I own this game on Steam and think it's one of the best remasters I've played.
I used to pay 20c for icy-poles at my local milk bar 25 years ago. They had those scribbler icy poles with the choco ball at the stop. Man they were good. Those certainly were the days.
Extremely well done remake with good options to go back and forth between new and original art, music and sound fx.
Currently selling on the estore for ~$10
$10.40 on eShop for those that don't need physical media.
This is so cheap on eshop, buy there instead
As someone that owns this I don’t think it’s worth the price unless you get some really large nostalgia kick from it. Having not played it originally and going in new, I finished it somewhere between 4 - 6 hours and there wasn’t much incentive to go back. It’s a nice remake but one you can easily knock over in an evening. As such I’d suggest get it on the eShop for less if you want to play it.
But then you've got it forever and can't sell it on
If you pay $40 now, then sell it for $10-15 later, you're still out of pocket $25-30… And you don't have the copy of the game any more.
This.
It's unusual that the eshop price is about the same as the $ you'd lose by buying physical then reselling. So for this game just buy digital.
They're aren't many games priced like this. Flashback is the only other one that I know of.
The level design is also garbage. It's very much go left, jump a few times, level over. Or go right..etc. Keep in mind the system this was made for… There are serious limitations and it shows.
It's fine. But way overpriced.
What do you mean? Technically this game doesn't even have levels. It's kind of a really early open world design. As long as you can access an area, you can go anywhere from the hub village.
Technical it mightn't, but practically it does. It has themed areas and bosses. Not sure what else you need to call it a level
Never heard of it, but it looks pretty crap. Just stick to the classics…
I can't tell if this comment is a joke, a weird nostalgia-trip or something else altogether
It’s also a quarter the price on the eshop.
haven't played this yet but this is a good price for it
used to love playing wonder boy 3 back in the day was a great game on my master system !
