Plus shipping. This is the cheapest place I could find this radio. Dunno if Officeworks will price beat but am on the phone with them now to find out. Stay tuned…

Duly noted and corrected
haha, good one!
yep just read a review saying there's no bass, sounds very tinny
Welcome to 1999!
Are you referring to the viability of Sony or the technology? ;)
Yes, they did price beat, but was based on the price including shipping, so for me it was $101.64.
DAB, not DAC.
Ta
Decent deal for the product itself, but not sure why you wouldn't get a UE Boom or a Wonderboom instead
with USB & DAB $99
We buy these at work these comes in both models DAB and standard. Sound is below average. I won't pay more then $20 for this.
BOMBASTIC
beware Sony make you send these back, we had a similar model from BigW, it died 2 times in 12months. BigW system said they cannot replace unless Sony check it as a internal note from Sony, so we gave up the 2nd time.
Which is dreadful for a CD player that has similar audio of a $30 Bluetooth speaker.cd player? yo grandpa
Oh we got one of these for our 4yr old. She loves it, plays her own Wiggles and Play School CDs on it.
And with the DAB she can listen to ABC Kids digital radio station.
I did a heap of research about these and this was pretty much the only on the market that had CD player + DAB + small portable + under $150. Oh and that we could get in Australia.
It's actually pretty loud - yeah of course the bass production is not deep and sound quality isn't amazing but for our purposes it's really good.
Same here for our 5 year old. We buy him cds from the op shop. He loves having his own music he can put on anytime. Plays MP3s cds too. We got a refurb one direct from Sony eBay for $50. Sound isn't great. He doesn't care.
expired? showing $129 plus shipping for me
Hmm… not much "boom" in this box.
