Think these new shoes will be comfortable enough to walk around the house and front yard during the self quarantine period :D

Thanks OP.A stylish classy shoe, and good buying IMHO.
does anyone know if these are really narrow at the toes or fairly spacious?
It seems DJs does free returns via post if they don't fit?
Nice. I wonder how'd they laced the single brown at the top like that? How would one tie their shoes lol.
no thanks. i only need slipper for the next few months.
Stock up now for job interviews later this year.
Upvoting mainly for the description mate. Good laugh!
Nice deal too!
I have a pair of these and I recommend you buy one size lower than your normal size.
How long have you had them? Apparently blisters are common in the first few months of wear (unsure about this specific Derby model but dress shoes in general). I have 2E width feet so usually go half a size/a size up if there are no width options.
Had them for about a year and no issues.
looks like no need for a topy, that's a plus imo.
Julius Marlow are crap quality. I have owned a few pairs and they have always fallen apart, I realised that the heel of one pair was cardboard.
Yep, not at all what they used to be.
Some of mine have disintegrated pretty quickly in the past, but two current pairs (one thick sole, one thin sole) are still going well enough for 2+ years.
Used to get 'em cheaply at Harris Scarfe with Amex statement credits. Guess I won't be doing that anymore.
To be fair, this is my experience with most shoes with a cemented sole construction. It's similar to a lot of items - pay a premium for a longer lasting product or pay less for one that needs to be replaced sooner.
I still think this is a good deal for this shoe.
First and last pair of Julius Marlow I ever bought lasted about 7 months. According to JM this was "acceptable wear". After that I bought a pair from Aquila and am still wearing them after 7 years. Both were around the same price.
Seems price has reverted or sold out.
Brown version now on same price https://www.davidjones.com//22126606/PARALLEL-DERBY.html don’t forget ShopBack :)
I won a pair of Julius Marlow shoes in a competition still sitting in the cupboard never worn them.
