Awesome game if you liked the first, even better than the first.
I found this a mix between Fallout 4, Wolfenstein and Metro Exodus.
The deluxe version is also 70% off and better value I believe!

Also included in the Xbox Game Pass (xbox/PC) for those interested.
I loved Rage even though it was "short"
Is rage 2 better?
I loved the original, i enjoyed the sequel. Its not bad to play but i finished the campaign, put it down and havent thought about it since.
I'd say $15 is a good price for it.
I liked it, besides the repetition it's a good game. I can't remember much of the first game but this one is a lot of fun. However the story is very short, only 8 missions besides the intro and outro mission you just have 2 missions with 3 main characters and that's it the rest is just the same old "clear this base" "destroy this". While saying that $30 is a bit steep of a price, I paid $12 at a recent Big W closure and that was worth it, I probably wouldn't pay more than $20 but that's just me personally.
I feel this game was a major let down, maybe more so than the original. The gunplays top notch but for such a massive world they had an incredibly small scope for the main campaign, and I don’t think the (inconsequential) content outside the main story was sufficient to hold much attention post credits.
It may be worth $30 to give it a quick blast, but for a massive open world game be prepared for it to be over quicker than you’d normally expect for a game with such a big map. Also be prepared for a lot of your time to simply be travelling from A to B.
Agreed. Forced myself to finish it and never booted it again.
On the fence about this, for $30 might pick it up. Rage just felt like a tech demo for id Tech 5, looked beautiful on the new engine but was an incredibly bland game (I tried playing it 12 months ago, it has not aged well).
Sounds like this is an improvement, but not sure I'd rather just sink money/time into the new doom instead.
