Any reviews on this? Looking for a little heater for the study, not sure about efficiency etc

Pretty much all electric heaters, that dont waste much as visible light, are about the same.

If you dont intend to turn it off, oil heaters often have an advantage because they stay at temp easier.

Windows unit air con is about four times as efficient as any heater using resistance.

Air cons are about 400% efficient because it's moving energy from one side of a surface to another rather than using resistance.

  • Now if only they made an AC edition of this :P

  • Wrapped! I almost pulled the trigger on this full price yesterday! Thanks OP. The wife will be well pleased in her iso-office.

That's a super inflated RRP so don't be fooled by it. It's a rebadged COMLIFE heater and generally around that price (our dollar is low).

    • Most of the time all of the models are "rebadged" (or white label) products.

A business no one hears of makes them. They put the business customer's brand on the product and ship it to the business (eg Kogan) or a third party fulfillment centre who warehouses and ships it when it sells (eg. Amazon).

For that matter many exclusive products such as Xbox aren't made by Microsoft.

    • Lol, that RRP is ridiculous. The US COMLIFE reviews on Amazon are worse than the UK ones. We have the Kambrook 2000w ceramic white tower heater and it's great. They're all very noisy though and don't keep a constant temperature well so choose an oil heater for the bedroom.

  • Quick maths $1 per day to run

    • 2+2-1 thats 3; quick maths.

  • 1200 wattage is kinda low, dont expect this to heat anything more than the immediate area.
Its also no more portable than something like.
