As you said foundit, with shipping its a competitive deal. With cost of fuel at say 15c km, plus wear and tear, waiting time of around 30 minutes and in my case 80+kms from nearest MSY I think I'll take Daniel up on this one.
Especially since the 2gb cards are also cheaper than MSY — my unit can't take the SDHC cards
:) I'm trying to look at how an offer can appeal to different people these days before commenting on them :)
and fair comments both times :)
@[Deactivated]: :) :) :) :) :)
I'd give it a +1 except, I can go to an MSY :)
Though their queue is very long!!!
@SomeGuyOnOzB: yeah, that is ridiculous. Shopping at MSY is not at all pleasure, many comes there with details exact item they need after research, but they will be out of stock, what a waste of time after the huge queue. Just because of their queue, i like umart or fluidtek even if price is higher by few dollars.
@mawinmawin: Oh. You can e-mail them before hand, so they can check stock levels and prepackage your order … I'm not sure if that means, at least at the Box Hill store, that you can arrive, excuse yourself to the front and queue up at the "e-mail ordered" express counter …
Not necessarily the best deal. See line 4 on this page
At least on the 8GB card, MSY sells it for about $42 whereas Shopping Square want $49.15. Not sure if Shopping Square is that good on price for other cards too.
However, Shopping Square will post, and if you can't make it to an MSY … I'm not sure if MSY do post.
