ATHOME

Another work from home coffee deal. This time from Beanhunter, Instagram Post

Working with Australia's top speciality coffee roasters, we find the best coffee from all around the globe.

Free Shipping. Cancel anytime. It's 50% off your first order and then you can cancel if you like.

Cheaper than Fat Poppy's current deal

Looks like the current beans are Vertue Coffee Roasters.

Espresso: Huntsman We take pride in the natural processed coffees we serve, and this blend is kind of like an All-Stars team – a lot of our favourites packed into one – Candy like sweetness from the India Kelagur Heights, complex florals from the Mexico San Cristobal and Ethiopia Adola.

Filter: Honduras El Guayabillo A classic and mild Honduran coffee – layers of toffee sweetness open to some soft citrus and stonefruit for a lingering filter experience.

Note: You need to use the code ATHOME, not ILOVECOFFEE that is on their site as that doesn't work.

I've had the Beanhunter app for years, which occasionally works to find good quality coffee in cafe's in your area. Had no idea they had a storefront selling beans.

same, only used them ages ago to find good shops

  • What a terrible website! My 2 year old could market their coffee better than they do. How did you find what beans and the flavour profiles of the coffees were? I won't be ordering from them as effort on website suggests that the effort that they out in to making coffee is probably the same.

Beanhunter don't make the coffee. They are a "coffee of the month" (or week) service where they send out a new beans from random roasters to try. I think the current beans are the ones I've listed in the OP from Vertue Coffee.

  • Their site is so confusing.
I signed up yesterday expecting to get 1Kg delivered but it seems they won't be shipping until 8th April.
When I signed up their system said I was on a trial until 7th April.
When I login it says I'm on a trial until 1st April.
There is no contact details to call them.
So now they have no credit card details and I don't have any coffee for at least 2 weeks.
    I wish I had passed.

    • I agree completely, exact same boat for me. Not even sure when I'm getting coffee!

Shipping Mon 6th April - hopefully

  • So what's the deal here, if we cancelled the subscription then we're not getting the coffee? What a waste of time this has been.

  • 25 March: Ordered 500g filter $14.75. Received email with confirmation and advised that card will be charged after 1 April. Logged in and trial period ends 7 April.
3 April: Received notification from Bean Hunter to say that a delivery is on it's way. Logged in and cancelled subscription.
4 April: Debit card charged $14.75 by beanhunter.com Cremorne
    6 April: Beans arrived. :-)

It looks like they charged when they shipped the beans.
