I noticed they said they are remaining open in that email that just came through… Is David Jones classed as 'essential goods'?
Most of them are located in shopping centres, which are still open. No dining in the Foodhall though (not that there's currently one in Sydney CBD due to the Elizabeth Street refurbishment; due to open early April)
Retail hasn't been told to close, so of course they're staying open as long as possible
Bottleshops get a pass, so anything is possible in the Corona era
If only all retailers would drop their minimum (looking at you The Body Shop; who tf spends $99 in one go there?)
Fun facts:
- $50 was the minimum for free shipping until a few years ago
- free shipping (and gift wrapping) is all the time with a David Jones Card
