Free Access to Centr Fitness App for 6 Weeks (New Users Only, Web Signup)

870

Chris Hemsworth has posted this on his Facebook page, as of 11am AEDT.

https://www.facebook.com/chrishemsworth/videos/1904532919681…

Hi there all, during this period of self isolation and uncertainty, I am offering six weeks of my health and fitness program @Centrfit for FREE! Go to centr.com and sign-up.
Centr was founded to make health and happiness accessible to all, and I hope that this will make that access even easier during the current global health crisis.
I think now more than ever is when we need to focus on what I believe to be the 3 key pillars to living healthier and happier- movement, nutrition, and mental fitness.
In recent weeks Centr has seen a groundswell of support from our customers and communities, with thousands of members around the world coming together and sharing how the program has brought them positivity and support during these difficult times.
Available at centr.com only, for new users only.

Offer signup eligibility is valid until next Tuesday 31st.

why is the thumbnail a pic of Ironman ?

    • I noticed and wondered that too, but otherwise not sure… unless mayhaps Chris did it to the video himself for the lulz.

    • +1

It's not a pic of Ironman, it's Dr. Dolittle.

    Need CC :(

    • +3

Needs CC, however you can stop subscription immediately, then remove you CC from the account. Still have access to all workouts and info.

Can we make a list of all fitness apps that are on special right now?

    • Also a recommendation on the best for quarantine workouts…

      • +3

Ring Fit Adventures is all you need for staying fit at home. Granted there is a much higher start-up cost, but the convenience of not having to manually input data beats any fitness apps out there.

Best supplement for days you can't be bothered going to the gym but still don't mind working out at home.

        • How much do you have to spend on equipment to do all this at home though?

          • +1

@[Deactivated]: You are looking at around $600 to get started. Definitely not cheap, but if you can dedicate yourself to working out at home regularly or have others in your household who would like to work out at home as well, then you will get the moneys worth in the long haul.

This really is a worthy investment for staying fit at home, by providing a distraction to stop you from getting bored when you work out. Plus it'll automatically keep track of your stats too (calories burned, distance ran, etc).

        • That looks awesome, is it one player at a time? Can you get two rings and train with a partner?

          • +1

@neil aus: One player at a time, but you can have multiple profiles for additional people who want to play/work out.

        • +1

Many smartwatches and fitnesswatches are cheaper than that and also autotrack you / provide workouts. If you want some entertainment you can pair that with apps like Zombies Run!

        • saying that, they are incredibly hard to get a hold of.

Darebee.com is by far the best free resource imo.

        • +1

+1 for darebee.com, used to use them in Google+ days!

    • District 5 Fitness (Adelaide) will be offering tailored and really well put together online workouts daily while they are closed (Functional training with a twist). Prices are TBD but they will look after you - best to get in contact with them. Close friends of mine own this fitness community - touch base with them at https://www.district5fitness.com.au ([email protected]) and mention OZBargain. They will look after you. • +1

Anyone used this before, and can you confirm how much equipment you need?
I have access to some dumbbells and kettlebells, but I mostly enjoy body weight training.

    • +2

you choose the required equipment, so you can do body weight only.
