Free Trial Period

a. From time to time, we may offer a free trial membership of Kogan First. If you sign up for a free trial of Kogan First membership, you will be required to provide credit card details to be used should you continue your membership after the free trial period.
b. You may cancel your membership at any time during the free trial period.
c. If you cancel your Kogan First membership during the free trial period, you will incur no fees or other charges for the membership. Your Kogan First trial will end immediately and you will no longer receive any Kogan First benefits.
d. If you do not cancel your Kogan First membership before the free trial period has ended, your membership will be automatically renewed for the Membership e. Period and you will be charged the full membership fee in accordance with clause 5.
f. There is a maximum of one free trial of Kogan First membership per person. You may not use or create another Kogan account in order to take advantage of the free trial more than once.

    Is it still nearly impossible to end the trial before you start paying though? Have read plenty of nightmare stories.

      I cancelled months ago and it was straightforward and immediate online. I did it myself. Note, unlike Amazon, when you cancel, it finishes straight away. Catch, on the other hand, is terrible. I had to find an email and write to them to cancel and wait for a reply. You can't cancel it yourself online.

    Kogan are a bit dodgy. Coupon code boxes disappear when you want to use them.

    My membership (free with the Kogan credit card) has saved me $12 (3 x $4 on the security cams) and 2 lots of delivery fees.

    So far, so good - as long as it’s free, no harm in joining via their credit card.

      Totally agree. I have saved $100+ shipping cost since I got the credit card in December.

      1% cashback reward in Kogan credits is a great earning rate, which easily beats all other no annual fee cards. It is even better than many cards with $100 to $200 annual fee.

    Isn't 14 days the normal trial? I think i missing the bargain here?

      You are correct. Months ago they cut it down from a month to 14 days. When this offer was posted previously it was noted that it only includes delivery to certain post codes but it is impossible to find the list. There is no bargain here.

    Oh… I signed up. Spent far too long searching and adding things; kept seeing "Free shipping with First".
    At checkout, postage was about $17. Couldn't figure it out, then found my postcode was ineligible.
    Oh well, that was a bit of a waste of time.
    Funny, I was mainly interested in the 4-pack smart plugs for $39.99, which is $30 off, but doesn't seem like a good deal if shipping isn't free :)

    it's 5 days now instead of 14 days - bit deceptive because they show it as 14 days if you hover over the free trial on the home page
