Got this in email, seems like good deal. It says code is unique but I'm pretty sure it can be used multiple times.

    Have four around house exterior and they work well.

    Main Pros compared to competition:
    1) Free cloud for upto 5 cameras but annoying have to re-register every 3 months. Others charge for cloud

    2) With solar panel can just set and leave, battery always been 100% since putting solar panel

    3) Can get solar panel cheaper on amazon as same panels used by other brands

    4) Cloud good stores engough stuff and also stored on sd card

    5) Has two way talk and alarm however speaker not that loud

    Would buy again

        Not much just log in and choosing another 3 months, they also send you reminders.

        I suppose the reason why they dont let you register for a year or so cause they eventually want to charge for it like all the competitors do, so I always half expect to see a charge each time I re-register but so far nothing. Its all free

          How long the battery can record?

          How well is the motion or thermo detection?

            @andylch: Yup records to sd card if wifi down

            Battery lasts few days if you not checking on it and its in low motion area

            Motion always works had no issues

              @bargrin: Does video recording lags behind motion detector? The Arlos (first gen) has a 1-2 second lag, by the time recording starts, the subject has already gone past the screen. Not sure about later gen Arlos though.

                @Buy2Much: No lag as it captures stuff straight away. Every car that goes past as fast as 40ks is always recorded as it drives past.

      These get rebadged as reolink but reolink might be cheaper however reolink charge for the cloud and these guys dont

          You might find cheaper china versions on ebay if you only going to use sd card to record motion.

          The value for money here is the wifi app for notifications and the free cloud storage.

    OK so while the camera is 1080p the video it saves to the cloud is only 640x352, any way to increase that?

      Ok all good. You go in to the cloud section of the app, then click on the small icon for the camera in question and you can set the upload quality there.
